L’Oréal Infallible Nail Polishes #012, #017, #021 Review
I recently took advantage of a buy 2 get 1 free deal I found on L’Oréal’s Infallible Nail Polish, the company’s no UV-lamp gel polish. It’s a 2-step polish with a hybrid combo of silicone & Flex-Resin™ exclusive technology, as L’Oréal claims, that has the following benefits:
• up to 12-day wear
• spectacular gel shine
• matching tinted top coat
• no nail damage
• easy to remove.
As I mentioned before it’s a 2-step nail polish, you apply 1-2 coats of the step 1 (color) and after a couple of minutes you apply the step 2 (top coat).
The 3 nail polishes I got are: 012 Forever Mink, 017 Petale Revival and 021 Always a Lady.
One coat application of all the three I got is enough. The lightest one (017 Petale Revival) might need a second coat, depending on the desired outcome. That one would be great in french manicure, as well.
They are of thick consistency. 012 Forever Mink is applied with more difficulty than the other two.
Both the color polish and the top coat have flat brushes that facilitate the application.
They are very shiny and they keep the shine for days. They are long-lasting. The first one that I tried was the 012 Forever Mink and I kept it for 9 days. You can see in the image below how it looked on day 9. By no means wasn’t it perfect, but nail polishes don’t last nearly that long to me. In my opinion, that was pretty decent.
Even though they are long-lasting and gel-like, they are removed easily with an ordinary nail polish remover, like any other polish. I was actually scared that they would need extra effort, that it would be like removing a glitter nail polish, but it wasn’t. In fact, I used a random nail polish remover I have, which is acetone-free.
The nail polishes are really small. They come with 2 × 5 ml (0.17 oz) of product.
