Brooke Shields Is the New M·A·C Beauty Icon

It seems that a new M·A·C – celebrity collaboration is expecting us this Fall.

So, Brooke Shields is the new M·A·C Beauty Icon, since as James Gager, M·A·C‘s senior vice president and creative director, said, she “resonates globally, and she keeps reinventing herself. She’s an ageless beauty. She’s also a mom, an actress, a model with everything happening all at once, like most modern women.”

The Brooke Shields Beauty Icon Collection, which is expected to hit the stores in October, is costituted of items the star cherish the most. “I went through all of my make-up, opened it all up, looked at it all and started to decide what of each product I loved – whether it was from M·A·C or some obscure brand I got on a shoot in Japan,” Shields told WWD. “I’m so used to having my make-up done by someone else – this was really my first time to delve in personally, rather than it being a mask that’s put on for a certain photo shoot. I loved being a part of the process and having my taste incorporated into it.”

This 15*-item collection is the largest Icon collection to date and won’t have M·A·C‘s typical black color packaging, but grey with orange accents and Brooke Shields’ signature and is consisted of [* the WWD article says there are 15 items in the collection, but I’m counting 14, anywhere I looked it up.
