I was tagged by nhieubeauty to do The Rainbow Tag, where you pick your favorite beauty products based on color. Thanks nhieubeauty!
So, like the rainbow colors, we need something Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet and also Pink and Multicolored.
I decided to show you my favorite items all together and as you can see some of them are pretty used up!
Red: Benefit’s ‘Benetint’, a popular cheek and lips tint. Perfect for every day and long wearing.
Orange: Vichy’s Capital Soleil spf 30 mattifying face sunscreen. It’s one of my ‘holy-grail’ products and I keep repurchasing it. A sunscreen that not only doesn’t it make the face look oily, but it also mattifies it! It is perfect for oily skin.
Green: Green clay face mask. There are ready-to-use ones and also in pure powder form. I have talked a little about the green clay mask in my discoveries of 2012 post. Green clay has many skin benefits. It can also be used on the rest of the body, not necessarily the face. Personally, I only use it as a face mask.
Yellow: Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
Blue: Too Faced’s ‘Turquoise Tinsel’ metallic eye liner. I mainly use it across the bottom lash line in spring and summer.
Indigo: Essence’s ’02 I’m a Marine Girl’ eye pencil from the ’50s Girls Reloaded’ collection. Blue, indigo colored eyeliner applied on the waterline, it makes the eye white appears whiter.
Violet: M·A·C’s ‘Revenge is Sweet’ lipglass from the ‘Venomous Villains’ collection. Even though I have a couple more violet-ish lipglosses, it has to be that particular one (even though it’s not the most violet one), because of the packaging and how hard it was for me to get my hands on. It sold out almost instantly!
Pink: M·A·C’s ‘Plink!’ lipstick (Lustre). Not much to say, it is a pinkish neutral shade, perfect for every day and I’m gonna need a new one soon!
Multicolored: My M·A·C colored eyeshadow palette. I’m not sure if that counts, but I don’t really have anything else multicolored. By the way, that’s the old pro-palette (15x).
Just for fun, I though I should also make a non-beauty related rainbow collage. And since it’s just for fun, I bent the rules a bit!

P.S. I have a confession to make. It might even be clear from my picks above, but I’m not a huge fan of the “blue family”! I know, statistically blue is most people’s favorite color, but definitely not mine.
