Sephora calls it a “lip cream stain”, but to me it is more like a long – lasting creamy liquid lipstick. It is not like the typical stains, like for example Benefit’s tints (Benetint, Cha Cha Tint, Posie Tint). I feel that it coats the lips rather than stains them.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain offers rich color to your lips and just because it is so pigmented, you have to be careful when apply it. Sephora suggests it to be applied starting from the center of the lips moving outwards, something that I think is the best for that product.
It is silky and comfortable when it is on and it does not dry out the lips, probably due to avocado oil and vitamin E it contains. Having said that, if you have dry lips, or lines on (not necessarily around) your lips, it might exaggerate them, since it is not glossy.
It is long lasting, but it transfers if you drink, eat… Also it wears off starting from inside, which I find totally understandable. So, you will probably need to reapply it.
Depending on your preference and/ or the condition of your lips, you might want to pair it with a lip balm (applied before or after the Sephora Cream Lip Stain).
Sephora Cream Lip Stain comes in lipgloss – like tube, with doe foot applicator. It contains 5ml (0.169 oz) of product.
