Whether you are shopping for a friend, or for yourself, you can find tons of value sets and offers during this time of the year.
Here they are 10 [beauty related] gift ideas under €30 (European prices). I don’t mention the prices, since they will vary from place to place. I divided them in three categories, makeup, body products (+ perfume) and nail polish.
So, here we go (in no particular order):
-1- The Body Shop Smoky Eye Palette (smoky copper or smoky moonstone). Two limited edition quads to choose from. They both contain four natural eye shadows (4×1.8g), smoky copper is warm toned and smoky moonstone is cool toned, a mini eyeshadow brush and a mini eyeliner brush.
-2- A Sephora pro Lesson Palette. Natural Eye, Smoky Eye, Blue Eye, Green Eye, Brown Eye, 5 palettes with 6 eyeshadows (6×1.67g) and a mini eyeliner (0.62g) each. These are neither too new nor limited edition, but they can be ideal gifts for any eyeshadow user.
-3- A Sleek eye shadow palette. Each palette has 12 super-pigmented eye shadows (12×1.1g). I know they are not sold everywhere, but you can order them online and they are inexpensive. Some Sephoras in Europe, if not all, may have a couple or more of those palettes.
-4- One of the Too Faced Glamour to Go palettes where 8 eyeshadows, 1 blush, 1 bronzer and 1 gloss are packaged in a small convenient-to-go palette.
-5- One of the Benefit’s Sugarlicious, Feelin’ Dandy or Go Tropicoral kits. Each one contains a cheek and lips stain (Benetint, Posietint or Chachatint)(4ml), a liquid highlighter (High Beam for all three of them) (4ml), a blush (Sugarbomb, Dandelion, Coralista) (3g), a lipgloss (Sugarbomb, Dandelion, Coralista) (6.5ml) and a small blush brush.
-6- High Impact Favorites by Clinique. In this set, a well-known, full size High Impact mascara (8g) comes with a Cream Shaper for Eyes (eyeliner pencil) and a Superdefense Eyes SPF 20 (eye cream) in mini sizes. Or something like mini sizes. The eye cream comes in a smaller 5ml tube than the full size 15ml tube, but the 1.1g eyeliner is almost as much as the 1.2g full size liner. They all come in a small see-through makeup bag and cost as much as the mascara by itself.
-7- One of the plethora of The Body Shop bath sets. There are sets for the all-year-round scents, as well as for the three new, limited edition Christmas scents (Cranberry Joy, Vanilla Bliss and Ginger Sparkle).
Or you can choose one of the Sephora brand sets, or create one of your own with two or more products. My personal favorite? Monoi scent and the amazing, moisturizing creamy body wash, which you can match it with the body lotion or/ and the body scrub.
-8- A Lady Gaga Fame 30ml eau de parfum. Of course you can get a bigger bottle, but I wanted to keep it within my €30 price limit.
-9- A set of nail polishes. Many companies offer sets of mini size (usually) polishes to choose from.
-10- A Ciaté Caviar Manicure set, a nail art kit to create the innovative caviar nails.
Non – cosmetics ideas: Gift cards, or some clothing item and accessories (like scarves or jewelry, for instance) always make great presents. Candles are also ideal gifts, especially for Christmas. My current favorite candle scent is Warm Spice by Yankee Candle. Most companies make special Christmas scents candles, worth been checked out.
More expensive ideas: One of the MAC holiday set (if they are not sold out), an Urban Decay’s Naked palette (the original or the #2), Benefit’s Fast Train to Fabulous (what I want to get to myself, but I don’t see me getting it!), or one of those perfume sets most companies bring out this time of the year.
Stocking stuffers or small gift exchange ideas: A purse hook, lip balm (limited edition Christmas ones, or not), solid perfume (I know that The Body Shop has 2-3 different options), perfume atomizer, candle tarts and, of course, chocolate. Or you can break gift sets that contain few items and give them to multiple persons. The Sephora brand lip gloss set, that contains four lipglosses, is a nice option.
